GRAND LAKE, Colo. - The Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse Coaches Association (IWLCA) has named four members of the Oswego State women's lacrosse team to one of its All-Empire Region teams. Angela Ponto and Teresa Shattuck earned first team honors, while Brigid Regin and Danielle Walker received second team accolades. This is the most players that Oswego has had named to an All-Region team for a single season in program history.

The State University of New York at Potsdam will recognize nearly 900 candidates for graduation during the College's 2018 Commencement Ceremony on Saturday, May 19. The SUNY Potsdam Class of 2018 will be awarded baccalaureate and master's degrees at the ceremony.

SUNY Potsdam student interns traveled to the 2018 National Association of Music Merchants (NAMM) Show in Anaheim, Calif., from Jan. 25 to Jan. 28. Joined by faculty from The Crane School of Music, the students worked directly with leading music industry firms, through a unique internship program organized by the Crane Institute for Music Business and Entrepreneurship -- the only ongoing program of its kind in the country.
Four Ithaca College students received scholarships from the New York Women in Communications Inc. (NYWICI) Foundation. The students were honored at the annual Matrix Awards in New York City on April 23.
A total of 32 SUNY Oneonta students are studying abroad this fall through semester-long and academic-year programs in 13 countries. SUNY Oneonta offers study abroad and exchange programs in Finland, Ghana, Germany, Greece, Israel, Italy, Japan, the Netherlands, South Korea, Sweden, Taiwan and the United Kingdom through the Office of International Education, plus international internship opportunities and short-term, faculty-led field courses abroad. Oneonta students also have access to more than 600 study abroad and exchange programs through the SUNY network.
More than 400 Buffalo State students presented their own research or creative work at the annual Student Research and Creativity Conference held on campus in April 2017. Students from many academic disciplines including art, business, education, science, and technology explained their work using posters or presentations. Students used gallery and performance space to demonstrate work in the performing and visual arts.
The research and creative work of students representing 29 different degree programs was on display at the 14th Annual Undergraduate Research Conference on Friday, April 28, from 3 to 7:30 p.m. in the Lecture Center Concourse. Over 120 students presented at the annual conference.
